Side Kwento: I loved these girls. We were lucky to have availed their old rates. Some of them nameet ko na during my prenup like Vanessa, Cha and Abby. Sister company kasi ng KTG ang Southern Dames, my prenup stylist. And with Ms. Cece as my lead coordinator sobrang stress free ng wedding preps. The wedding checklist they have provided were a big help to us.

Si Ms. Cece stress absorber ko.  During our final detailing, halos lahat ng assignment ko inako na nya para makapahinga na daw ako. Siya na kasi nagprepare ng mga offerings ko sa church, nagprepare ng balloons, naghanap ng bible namin pati yung pick-up ng flowers from casa fiore siya na din nagvolunteer para mas makatipid kami. And from time to time, siya yung consultant ko pag need ko ng second opinion. Mabilis sila magreply mapatext or email man.

On the day, napansin ng mga guest na sobrang organize ng event. Lutang na ko on the day kaya hinayaan ko na sa kanila lahat after ng turn over. Si Ms. Cece na din nagdecide na ituloy ang set-up sa garden kahit na umulan nung umaga. Buti na lang hindi na umulan nung hapon..

Yung mga glitches, hindi ko talaga naramdaman. Meron siguro pero di na nila binanggit sakin. Si Ms. Cece na din nagdecide na wag na muna mag-avail ng additional crew meal kay Chef Velmor. Siya na daw bahala on the day kaya nakatipid din kami.

Very nice din yung bride’s assistant ko si Arbee. Sabi ng tatay ko kahit siya daw may hawak ng cellphone ko kinukuha pa rin sa kanya para ma-secure..Parang artista daw ako at ang ganda pa ng alalay ko... =>

Pros : As expected, our event was well organized. Granted ang request ko for them not to wear flashy outfits. Marami akong narinig na complement from the guest that they were very professional in dealing with guests (of different personality) . Also after the wedding, nung tinanong ko si Ms. Cece about sa gown ng box ko na nawawala sa hotel. Nag-follow up pa siya sa akin the next day and she was so nice to offer to give me box for my gown kung hindi na talaga makikita.

Cons: According kay hubby, after daw siya iwan ng assistant niya sa room hindi na daw sila in-update kung kelan aalis sa hotel. Kinailangan pa niyang tawagan si Ms. Cece para magtanong. Nakita niya tuloy ako sa lobby wala na daw surprise factor. Though di ko naman siya nakita. Kaya siguro di na siya naiyak during bridal march ko..wehehehe... =)

Tips and Learnings:

1. Make sure to include the wedding coordinator in your checklist as major supplier. Must have talaga ang coordinator kahit na on the day (OTD) lang...  Even if you have relatives na more than willing to help you out on the day. Iba pa rin talaga pag professional na ang coordinator mo.

2. Find a good coordinator. Mas may experience mas maganda.. They can make or break your wedding. Find a team whom you can trust all your wedding details. Sila na ang magiging manager on the day. Kaya dapat maaasahan sila especially sa pag-troubleshoot ng mga glitches.

3. Even if OTD coordination only, you can still ask your coordinator regarding wedding preps like referrals and some tips pag naguguluhan na. This is also one way of building rapport with them.

4. If you have special request, you can tell them directly like cash endorsement on the day or request for the color of their outfit during your day. I'm sure they could work something out to accommodate your request. Mahirap yung bahala na si coordinator attitude... = >
