Side Kwento: Di ko talaga priority ang gown nung una minimal lang kasi budget ko. Sobrang nalungkot ako nung na-out bid ako sa auction…Kaya natagalan ako mag-hunt ng designer kasi kulang pa budget ko for gown and hesistant pa ko mag-Divisoria. Nagdecide lang kami mag-upgrade nung may extra budget pa kami. Kasi nga nakamura ako sa ibang supplier ko dahil sa auction. Upon hearing horror stories sa mga brides at sa personal experience ko din with my ento. Hubby surprised me with an idea to haunt for designers na pasok sa budget namin. Marami-rami din akong naka-usap na suppliers thru email and personal meet-ups.

Emil was so nice.  Siya pinaka-murang quote sa mga napagtanungan kong mga designer.
Ok din sya kausap, di ako narattle sa schedule ng fittings. Mejo late na kasi ako nagbook
(2 months before the event). March 4, 2013 to be exact…  Kamusta naman?  Pati payment plan din, di mahirap. 5k daw to block the date...Kaya si hubby book na agad first meeting pa lang, siya ata nakaramdam ng this is it moment..wehehe..=>

During fittings, excited lang ako. Kahit shell pa lang ang ganda na nya..=>

Sa Last fitting sched ko sinama yung mama ko. Mas excited pa si Emil ng malaman na kasama ko si mother dear. Nung makita ko reaction ng nanay ko, alam ko na maganda yung gown ko…Priceless kasi reaction ni madir... =>

On the day, everybody loves my gown. Ang ganda daw. Pati yung veil ko winner sa haba din…I even texted Emil saying na ang dami niyang fans..=)

I texted Emil regarding my gown box that were missing when we went back to our hotel room.  I did asked him if his staff could still remember where they have placed the box after transferring my gown to the body form.  Emil said usually nasa room daw unless ginamit ng coordinator. Emil was so nice to offer a replacement if there’s no chance of finding my box na. Nag-follow up pa siya the next day for updates. Luckily, nahanap naman namin.. =)

Pros: Quality of the gown is superb compared sa rate niya.  Emil was very accommodating to me and my hubby. Going to his shop for fitting usually uplift our moods. Parang lahat ng stress namin sa preps nawawala agad. Emil was so nice to share some ideas din sa preps namin. Like what shoes and accessories to wear and also naming some hotels near our church. He even asked if I would prefer second look during reception. However I opted not to since nagandahan na ako sa gown.

The accessories (cord,2^nd veil, pillows, garter, bag) included in the package were not upgraded. We chose not to upgrade na kasi ang ganda na. Also, we were surprised na may kasamang candles, matches and arrhae holder yung package namin na naka-theme din. And my headpiece, ang cute lang.

 I specifically request for the length of my veil to be long. I showed him Ma-anne’s (JHG photography) signature veil shot and told him I want to achieve that kind of shot. Emil granted my request and gave me 10-metered- veil without any additional cost.

Cons:  Wala si Emil to dress me up on the day, nagpadala lang siya ng tao nya. Though expected ko na kasi nasabi niya naman na magboboracay siya. Mas maganda lang na andun siya to oversee kung may need pa irepair.  Also, I think he forgot to inform his assistant that I have already settled my balance with him.  Tinanong kasi ako nung assistant niya nung binibihisan ako. Sinabi ko na lang i-email ko na lang ulit yung bank receipt. We were not able to secure a contract from him. We did request for it kaso nawala na din sa isip namin mag-follow up. Not sure kung na-late yung assistant niya and yung body form or maaga lang talaga dumating yung photographer and videographer namin…=)
