Barongs for the Dads..

Inclusions   : 2 barongs for Dads (Php 400 each), 7 coat for mens (Php 640 each), 4 sets of shorts (Php 75 each) and vest for bearers (Php 130 each); 7 pcs neckties (Php 60 each);  4 pcs bow ties (Php 25 each)

Side Kwento :  We opted for RTW (ready-to-wear) na lang for the guys para wala ng hassle sa sukatan. Vest sana isusuot ng grooms men kaso upon hearing na naka-vest din waiters ni Chef Velmor, we decided to buy coat na lang instead. We did asked our male entos and they agreed naman. Baka bigyan daw sila ng tray sa reception ko.. wehehe. And in-fairness maganda yung mga vest na suot nung mga waiters ng Purple Dish. On the day, sabi nila buti na lang daw talaga nag-suit sila. Both of our dads agreed to wear barong naman para di daw masyadong mainit sa church. For the bearers, we bought them vest and short para mag-match sa mga grooms men. We also bought neckties and bow ties for them. We chose a different color of necktie for our best man to stand out from the rest.

Pros : Divisoria is a haven for budget brides like me. Konting tiis lang sa pag-iikot at may mahahanap ka din na pasok sa budget. Not to mention, you get to test your haggling skills.. Ehem! The guys love their outfits plus they get to keep it after the wedding. Some were able to wear it again in other events that they have attended.

Cons: Hassle lang siguro magpabalik-balik sa Divisoria for sizes. We initially bought 3 pcs muna (S,M,L) para maging sukatan ng ento. Then we ask the mommies of the bearer for the usual size ng mga kiddos. Then bumalik kami ulet for the whole set na kasama na din dads para sa barong naman.. =>

Tips and Learnings:

You can ask your ento to shoulder some expenses for them. What we did is we insert a look-book-like instruction when we distribute the package to them. We asked the guys to wear white long sleeves, black shoes and black pants. Same with the bearers, sila na bahala sa white long sleeves, white socks and black shoes din. Sa Flower girls naman, white socks and white shoes. Then sa ladies, we require silver shoes. Lahat naman nag-comply, mas excited pa nga sila maghanap ng susuotin nila…=>
