Kwento :  Fan na talaga ko nila una pa lang. ang ganda lng ng mga shots. Kung makikita nyo yung totoong lugar iba talaga itsura nya sa cam nila. Kahit hilong hilo si Ms Ma-anne kasi gumagalaw yung yacht wala kaming narinig na reklamo sa kanila. Si Joel sobrang passionate talaga sa craft nya. Pag nagshoshoot sya para lang syang naglalaro.. Andyan tutuksuhin kami,kakantyawan pero pag pinapakita nya yung mga shots napapanganga lang kami ni h2b. Nahiya nga kami ni h2b kasi di sila nakakain the whole shoot kasi nga
bigla kaming nag pack- up tapos timing na may nakita si Joel na venue for sunset kaya hinabol talaga namin. Ayaw na sana ni h2b magshoot sa star city kasi late na and lumipad yung balloons (12 pcs) na supposed to be props namin sa starcity. Pero kahit na late na pumayag pa rin sila na magshoot kami dun sa venue. Ang ganda lang din ng mga shots sa star city…ang galeng2x tlaga.. super sulit yung lahat ng pagod sa preparation namin.

Kwento          : Sobrang swerte ko talaga napanalunan ko si mama thru auction…first time ko ma meet si mama nung prenup namin kaya ang aga ko sa place nya..takot kasi kami ni h2b na maligaw kaya inagahan namin. As usual starstruck lang ang peg ko..ang galing lang ni mama, napaganda nya ko ng bongga as in. Kahit ako di makapaniwala wehehe.. walang retouch yung make up ko pero naglast talaga sya..kahit sobrang tirik ng araw fresh pa din ang look namin.

Kwento: Abby and Vanessa are so nice..Para lang kaming magkakabarkada..yung mga damit na pinadala nila samin di ko akalain na babagay samin lalo na kay h2b. Ngayon nga yun na yung fave nyang suotin wehehe ..Pati sa props, anung sinabi ng dalawang maletang dala nila? Nag offer pa sila ng ride papunta sa second venue namin which is star city.. Sobrang maalaga, feeling artista lang kami ni h2b... =)

Kwento: One time nagjojogging kami ni h2b nakita namin yung yacht na nakadock dun sa harbor square. Timing na andun si sir Danny Chua kaya inquire kami agad..The yacht can be rented per hour..Open time sana kami until 6pm kaso biglang nagkaron ng changes; yung next na naka-schedule na mag sail ng 8pm nagrequest ng mas maaga kaya nagpack-up kami ng 5:30..medyo na–off lang kami ni h2b nung una buti na lang may nakita si joel na mas ok na scene for sunset kaya naka move-on kami agad..

Kwento: Plan B namin toh kung wala kaming makuhang ibang venue or wala kaming ma rent na yacht. Dito talaga kami madalas ni h2b magbonding. Tuwa ko lang ng malaman na walang siyang fee. Need mo lang magsubmit ng request letter thru email or pede mo idrop by sa office nila. They only require us to avail of the ride all you can tickets which is P400 each to all involved sa shoot pero nagrequest kami ni h2b na kung pede kami na lng ng 2 photogs ko ang mag avail tapos entrance na lang yung iba. Kasama pa kasi naming yung sister ko at lablyf nya and na-grant naman kaya happy kami ni h2b.. =)

Kwento: Syempre love your own. Short notice lang sa sister ko yung block letters pero nagawa nya at mas maganda pa..sobrang thankful ako sa family ko for the support..pati yung hassle ng pagdala ng balloons sa venue sila din nag-asikaso and pagbili din ng foods. Ok talaga kung magsasama kayo ng makakatulong nyo sa set kahit tagabantay lang nang gamit nyo lalo na pag public place.. Di talaga maiiwasan mga glitches kaya dito pa lang practisin na ang let go and Let God..Basta ang importante ienjoy nyo lang ang moment at ang bilis lng nya talaga..

Love your own ang peg. DIY are famous sa mga budgeted bride like me. Tipid mode kami sa lahat ng pwedeng tipirin. Di porke’t DIY eh mas mura. Meron din kaming nilet-go ang DIY to seek service of professional supplier since mas cost effective siya compare to DIY. This is if you’re considering purchasing all the materials that you will need in the process… Minsan kasi konting-konti lang ang difference compared pag bumili ka or naghanap ng supplier.. =)

We DIY those items na mas makakamura kami since we have most of the materials on hand and only requires minimal purchase if ever.

Save the Date Card - we lay-out some pictures from our prenup (by Joel Garcia) using Photoshop then we print it using a special paper.

Insert for Invitation - used photoshop to lay-out the inserts with the same size of the single sheet invites from Print Divas. We also print our DIY monograms to sticker paper and then we decorate the envelope with ribbons.

Escort Cards -  using a barbeque stick we arrange the name, numbers and the folded origami paper boats on top of styro foam wrapped by a crepe paper.

Souvenir for primary sponsors and guest - we bought the materials in Divisoria then decorate it using ribbons and we also attached our DIY thank you cards. Souvenir for the principal sponsors cost Php130 per set while the souvenir for the guest is Php 25 per set.

Side Kwento: I loved these girls. We were lucky to have availed their old rates. Some of them nameet ko na during my prenup like Vanessa, Cha and Abby. Sister company kasi ng KTG ang Southern Dames, my prenup stylist. And with Ms. Cece as my lead coordinator sobrang stress free ng wedding preps. The wedding checklist they have provided were a big help to us.

Si Ms. Cece stress absorber ko.  During our final detailing, halos lahat ng assignment ko inako na nya para makapahinga na daw ako. Siya na kasi nagprepare ng mga offerings ko sa church, nagprepare ng balloons, naghanap ng bible namin pati yung pick-up ng flowers from casa fiore siya na din nagvolunteer para mas makatipid kami. And from time to time, siya yung consultant ko pag need ko ng second opinion. Mabilis sila magreply mapatext or email man.

On the day, napansin ng mga guest na sobrang organize ng event. Lutang na ko on the day kaya hinayaan ko na sa kanila lahat after ng turn over. Si Ms. Cece na din nagdecide na ituloy ang set-up sa garden kahit na umulan nung umaga. Buti na lang hindi na umulan nung hapon..

Yung mga glitches, hindi ko talaga naramdaman. Meron siguro pero di na nila binanggit sakin. Si Ms. Cece na din nagdecide na wag na muna mag-avail ng additional crew meal kay Chef Velmor. Siya na daw bahala on the day kaya nakatipid din kami.

Very nice din yung bride’s assistant ko si Arbee. Sabi ng tatay ko kahit siya daw may hawak ng cellphone ko kinukuha pa rin sa kanya para ma-secure..Parang artista daw ako at ang ganda pa ng alalay ko... =>

Pros : As expected, our event was well organized. Granted ang request ko for them not to wear flashy outfits. Marami akong narinig na complement from the guest that they were very professional in dealing with guests (of different personality) . Also after the wedding, nung tinanong ko si Ms. Cece about sa gown ng box ko na nawawala sa hotel. Nag-follow up pa siya sa akin the next day and she was so nice to offer to give me box for my gown kung hindi na talaga makikita.

KTG ensure that the kids are busy...=>

Cons: According kay hubby, after daw siya iwan ng assistant niya sa room hindi na daw sila in-update kung kelan aalis sa hotel. Kinailangan pa niyang tawagan si Ms. Cece para magtanong. Nakita niya tuloy ako sa lobby wala na daw surprise factor. Though di ko naman siya nakita. Kaya siguro di na siya naiyak during bridal march ko..wehehehe... =)

Tips and Learnings:

1. Make sure to include the wedding coordinator in your checklist as major supplier. Must have talaga ang coordinator kahit na on the day (OTD) lang...  Even if you have relatives na more than willing to help you out on the day. Iba pa rin talaga pag professional na ang coordinator mo.

2. Find a good coordinator. Mas may experience mas maganda.. They can make or break your wedding. Find a team whom you can trust all your wedding details. Sila na ang magiging manager on the day. Kaya dapat maaasahan sila especially sa pag-troubleshoot ng mga glitches.

3. Even if OTD coordination only, you can still ask your coordinator regarding wedding preps like referrals and some tips pag naguguluhan na. This is also one way of building rapport with them.

4. If you have special request, you can tell them directly like cash endorsement on the day or request for the color of their outfit during your day. I'm sure they could work something out to accommodate your request. Mahirap yung bahala na si coordinator attitude... = >

Side Kwento : Love ko si Ms Cece personally kasi siya din lead coordinator ko from Kiss the Girl. I was able to locked their old otd rate and plan to upgrade na lang for additional emcee later. Come day of w@w auction, nakita ko yung Emcee package niya as one of the items and mega karir ako sa pag-bid.

Kasama ko na sya during wedding preps kaya may personal touch yung program namin. Very bubbly ni Ms Cece kaya hindi boring yung reception knowing na tanghaling tapat yung reception namin.

Grand entrance and first dance as couple..

Di kami naka-pag prepare ng songlist sabi ko na lang kay Ms. Cece, siya na bahala. During entrance namin, na-surprise kami sa entrance song namin. “In the Navy”, achieve na achieve ang theme. Siya na din nag-prepare ng song for our dance with our parents.

It was Ms. Cece's idea to have the Dinner and Pictorial done through Table Bingo Game were in she will draw the table numbers and the last table number that were called were the winners. Nakatuwa yung mga guests, akala mo kabuhayan showcase ang premyo lahat sila gusto huli kumain...=)

Nahuli niya kiliti ng mga guest ko kaya lahat nagpa-participate sa games. Couple's trivia game were a hit. We provide questions that are answerable by either april or ronald.
Kanya- kanya sila strategy kung paano mananalo.

Single games were fun din. At first, we called out the names of our single friends and request to have our picture with them in front. Then Ms. Cece announced the single game after kaya maraming participants.

The game for male participants were named "Shot and Shoot". The task is to take the shot from our mobile bar, turn around and then insert the thread to the needle provided.

For the ladies, the name of the game was "Search Me". The task is to find the safety pins that were hidden in the winning male's body while they were being blind folded.

Since maagang nag-start reception, we were not able to show our AVP’s according sa program kasi nga outdoor kami at maliwanag pa baka di makita ng mga guest.  3 videos yung pinalabas nang sunod sunod pero di pa din nag-uwian yung mga guest. Ang ganda kasi din ng pagkaka-introduce ni Ms. Cece in between videos.
